King James Onlyism in its most extreme form is heresy of the highest order. This is the group that claims that the KJV is the Bible "re-inspired" and therefore any and all manuscripts no matter what the date or the source is fundamentally irrelevant because God's Words are perfectly inspired and preserved in the KJV.
Now of course most don't even realize that the copy in their possession is not even a 1611 edition but most likely a Cambridge or one of the others from at least 100 years after 1611 or even one of the many revisions since then. However, this group also claims that unless you were actually saved using a KJV Bible then you are not actually saved (yes there is video evidence of this out there).
This group would also say that if you wanted to make a Bible for German or Spanish or even French speaking people you can't use the original manuscripts to translate into those languages you would need to use the KJV then translate into those languages. I will have much more in the days and weeks to come on this subject but to start with I am going to include one of my favorite videos on it.
This particular debate has James White who is one of the leading authorities in the world on textual criticism and this particular debate in the world. The other person is someone who I hate to even have to use the term "Pastor" for in Steven Anderson who not only is an extreme KJV-Onlyist, but makes some very horrible and disgusting remarks in regards to those who don't agree with him, and also about homosexuals and the like. He goes way past simply stating what the Bible contains and cuts straight to attacking them personally and not even giving them any worth as human beings at all. I will provide more dealing with him at a later date.
The main purpose of this post is that Steven provides some of the most common KJV propositions which mainly is circular reasoning at best and Dr. White does an excellent job of refuting it while remaining calm until Steven simply loses the whole conversation at the end. Worth watching the whole thing.
