Bamboo Studios Weebly Themes

​​As many of you probably already know if you have had any discussions with me regarding websites and online ministries, I am a HUGE supporter of Weebly. I have built probably 15-20 websites with Weebly over the past 4 years and like everything else in my life, I have grown in my understanding and my ability to craft and manage websites utilizing Weebly.

In light of that philosophy, I have recently grown in my ability to customize websites as well. No, I am not doing full-on coding. That may or may not ever happen considering that is growing increasingly unnecessary to a degree. However, I have been teaching myself certain tools and tricks of the trade to be able to go into the code of a website and/or a theme and adjust and tweak minor things to improve the overall layout and appearance, and user-friendliness of any given website.

That brings us to the current blog post you are currently reading. I want to highlight a company that I use in conjunction with Weebly. Bamboo Studios is a great company that provides a wealth of additional content to use with one's Weebly website. Weebly is a great drag-and-drop website builder that makes the website creation experience a joyful one. However, once you get past the initial stages of development, one realizes that Weebly's themes while plentiful are on the basic side of the pendulum and lack customization.

Enter Bamboo Studios!

Bamboo Studios has many custom themes and apps to use with your Weebly website. I currently use their custom buttons app for instance and what I like about Bamboo Studios probably the most is that many if not most of their apps and themes are a one-time purchase scenario. I have never been a fan of monthly or annual payments. If something is worth purchasing, I would rather spend money one time and be done with it. Bamboo Studios allows for this as most of their apps are a one-time purchase and they range from $10 or less to $20-$30 depending on what you are purchasing. The themes all range from some free options up to $40.

In terms of their Weebly themes, I currently use the Infinity theme on the By His Grace Network website and have done so for a few years now. What I love about my time using it is that I have researched and learned how to adjust the size of certain elements like the blog body and also to adjust things like background colors, etc. The Infiniti theme is not only one of their most highly rated and most used themes but that is because it is supremely worth the purchase price. Installation is not hard either in that you simply have to upload the zip file on the "Custom Theme/Import Theme" page inside your Weebly editor. That is a post for another day!
